Clarity II ™is a fractional, non-ablative laser system. It was designed for various dermatological procedures, including hair removal, skin resurfacing, scar reduction, and treatment of pigmented lesions. The laser's technology allows it to deliver precise and controlled energy pulses to the targeted areas of the skin, stimulating collagen production and promoting skin rejuvenation.
Our medical professionals offer treatment for the following skin conditions: Anigioma, Skin Lentigines, Telangiectasia, and Vascular Lesions.
Angioma refers to a benign (non-cancerous) growth of blood vessels. These growths can occur in various body parts and are typically characterized by an abnormal proliferation or dilation of blood vessels.
In most cases, angiomas are harmless and don't require treatment. However, medical intervention may be considered if an angioma causes discomfort, affects bodily functions, or is a concern for cosmetic reasons. If you suspect you have an angioma or have concerns about any skin growth, it's essential to consult with a healthcare professional for proper evaluation and treatment advice.
Laser hair removal is a popular cosmetic procedure to remove unwanted hair from various body parts. It is a long-term or permanent hair reduction method that utilizes concentrated beams of light, known as lasers, to target hair follicles. The laser's energy is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair follicles, damaging them and inhibiting future hair growth.
The treated hairs will gradually fall out over the following weeks, and you'll likely need multiple sessions (usually spaced 4-6 weeks apart) to achieve optimal results since hair grows in different cycles.
Skin lentigines, commonly known as "liver spots" or "age spots," are small, flat, darkened patches of skin that develop due to accumulated melanin, the pigment responsible for skin color. These spots are typically brown, black, or gray and can vary in size and shape. Lentigines are generally harmless and do not cause any medical issues, but they can be a cosmetic concern for some individuals.
The leading cause of skin lentigines is sun exposure. Over time, the sun's ultraviolet (UV) rays can increase melanin production in some regions of the skin, forming these spots. As a result, lentigines are commonly found on sun-exposed areas of the body, such as the face, hands, shoulders, arms, and upper back.
Laser treatment can target and break down the melanin in the spots, leading to their gradual fading.
Telangiectasia, also known as spider veins or broken blood vessels, refers to the visible, small, and dilated blood vessels that appear on the skin's surface.
These vessels are usually red, blue, or purple in color and can be found in various areas of the body, commonly on the face, nose, cheeks, chin, and legs. Telangiectasia occurs when the tiny blood vessels, called capillaries, become dilated and more noticeable through the skin.
Vascular lesions are a broad category of skin abnormalities involving blood vessels. These lesions can appear in various forms, colors, and sizes and can be either congenital (present at birth) or acquired (develop over time).
Specific vascular lesions, such as port-wine stains and hemangiomas, can be treated with laser therapy to target and shrink the abnormal blood vessels.
